world of gems. There are also some extraordinary guests visiting the library.

Fizzics – Forces, Friction and Movement workshop: Who said science was boring! Have fun and learn at the ‘Forces, Friction and Movement Show’. In this workshop, you’ll get a look in-depth at how to push and pull forces act to move objects… especially toys! You’ll also explore what variables impact friction between two surfaces and how this has implications on object movement. Rotational forces are explored in a variety of objects as well as we spend time ensuring that the kids understand how inertia works. Bookings are essential for the workshop at Warragul Library on Wednesday 19th Jan 11am.

Dreamer in the Deep – Dream Puppets: In this deep-sea adventure, Dreamer’s bed is transformed into an ocean-going yacht and Dreamer sets out to rescue a leafy sea dragon held captive by a greedy scorpionfish in the Great Barrier Reef. The performance is puppetry, and the black light technique combines other stage lighting, screens, and fluorescent scrims. All puppets and props are in fluorescent colours, which glow under the blacklight. The puppeteer wears black velvet and is invisible. DREAMER IN THE DEEP runs for 45 minutes and is suitable for all ages. Bookings are essential for final show at Inverloch Library on Friday 21st Jan 2.30pm
