Tinies

Green – Amy Child receives a green certificate for a brilliant “Happy New Year” picture. There are specks of glitter throughout the champagne that has burst open, making for a great effect. The champagne bottle has been coloured the perfect shade of olive green, and it looks like a very expensive glass.

The “Happy New Year” text also makes great use of bright colours for each letter, with every colour of the rainbow used. Excellent colouring this week Amy!

Yellow – Cailin Riddle receives a yellow certificate for the awesome colouring of the New Years Resolution picture. The person has a grassy green shirt and cool blue jeans, with a big red question mark on the New Year Resolution scroll.

I hope your resolution is just as ambitious and as bright as the red question mark in your picture, Cailin. Keep up the great work.

Juniors

Green – David Ockerse receives a green certificate this week for the brilliant job colouring the cat. There is a nice blue background which has been coloured with a technique to make it look cloudy.

The cat has been coloured in the same way, with no pencil marks visible across the whole picture. The effect makes the cat’s fur look very real and very soft, great work David!

Juniors

Yellow – Ava Kinrade receives a yellow certificate this week for the colouring of the “Happy New Year” picture. This picture is fantastic because instead of champagne in the bottle, there is water spurting out of the top! Water is always the healthy alternative so it’s great to see that Ava has gone with blue as a colour.

Although, I may be mistaken because there looks to be blueberries on the bottle’s label. Maybe instead of water, blueberry juice is in the bottle! Great work Ava on this picture.
