Warragul 16 – 99 defeated Morwell Club 2 - 69 In Division 2 Morwell welcomed a Longwarry side eager to upset the only team with seven wins for the season. Ken Towt lead the challenge for the visitors with his team of Gerard Mitchell, Mark Serong and Hank Metselaar winning 36 – 14 over Ernie King and his rink of Jim Turner, Kevin Pigdon and Laurie Melhuish. Matt Eccles and his rink of Glenn Pask, Bob Proctor and John McCarthy extended the lead with a 26 – 21 win over Nathan Cook and his team of Danny McKeown, Abbas Mehran and Wayne Bishop. For the home team David Cook and his rink of Gerry Van Duin, Keith Gadsby and Darren Cullen won 27 – 17 over Ken White and his team of Elio Megetto, Barry White and Simon Counsel. Ron Lyfield made it two wins for Morwell with his rink of Bernie Detering, Brian Kinglsy and Russell Williams winning 32 – 18 over Adam Proctor and his rink of Peter Lieshout, Ian Peterson and Jason Lieshout leaving Longwarry the upset winners by three shots.

Longwarry 14 – 97 defeated Morwell 4 - 94

Brian Thorpe and his Drouin (2) rink of Elaine Thorpe, Richard Joyner and Rudy Kerkvliet won 23 – 21 over Neerim District’s Ross Pollardc and his rink of Grame Wingrove, Ray Throup and Jim Fallon. Col Jeffrey and his rink of Donald Mowat, Lyn Jeffrey and Clive Newman defeteated Colin McKay, Greg Bond and Chris Hogan 34 – 21.

Peter Throup and his Neerim rink of Karren Sheers, Ray Watts and Pat Fraser-Aurisch won 27 – 20 over Bruce Andrews and his rink of Jim Purvis, Merv Appleyard and Andrew Kidd. Peter Brooks and his rink of Tony Thornton, Robert Cook and Trevor Kuhnell won 29 – 26 over Phil Jarred and his rink of John Bickerdike, Mary Firth and Neil Bullen..

Thorpdale 14 – 82 defeated Traralgon (2) 4 - 75 In Division 3 Traralgon (3) welcomed Warragul (3) with the home team winning all four rinks. Ron Baker and his rink of Robert Marsh, Bob Dykstra and Paddy Francis won 32 – 13 over Ken Scammell, Brenon Smiles won 21 – 20 over David Ferguson, Norbert Schroeder won 27 – 16 over David Gatewood and May Cross won 23 – 17 over Ian McCartney.

Traralgon (3) 18 – 103 defeated Warragul (3) 0 - 66 Yinnar travelled to Newborough (3) and recorded a great win. Tim Roche and his team of Phil Williams, Jenni Harris and Meredith Kennon had a 44 – 8 win over Ken Bechaz. Gavin Osborne and his team of John O’Neill, Kerryn Nicholson and Robert Hooper won 29 – 23 over Michael Holroyd. For the home team Robbert Cook defeated Murray De La Haye 27 – 18 and Jim Cuthbertso­n defeated Russ Peters 31 – 11.

Garfield 14 – 109 defeated Boolarra 4 – 94

Morwell (2) travelled to Moe (2) and had three rinks up. Ken Turner defeated John Woods 21 – 17, John Osborne defeated Val Griffiths 28 – 17 and Shashi Bhatti defeated Les Stolarik 25 – 19. The lone Moe (2) winner was Brian Rodgers with a 28 – 15 win over Bob Skinner leaving Morwell (2) the winners by 8 shots.

Warragul (3) 18 – 114 defeated Morwell (3) 0 – 84 Trafalgar (2) welcomed Yallourn North and with three rinks up had a good win after their loss in the reverse fixture earlier in the season. Winning Trafalgar skippers were Mal Clyno 27 - 22, Tony Dawson 26 – 20 and Wayne Hurst 25 – 23. The lone Yallourn North winner was William Platschind­a who won 20 – 18.

Trafalgar (2) 16 – 96 defeated Yallourn North 2 - 85 Newborough (4) were grateful for Traralgon RSL allowing them to use their green due to the Newborough green being renovated following the EnergyAust­ralia Classic Singles. Newborough (4) had three rinks over Drouin (3) with winning skippers Rod Dixon and his rink of Phil Zappelli, Wayne Russell and Wally Smith winning 41 – 14, Albert Van Stekelenbu­rg won 30 – 17 and Charlie Cadby won 22 – 18. The lone Drouin (3) winner was Lloyd Smith winning 22 – 20.

Traralgon (4) 14 - 98 defeated Yarragon 4 - 85 In Division 5 Morwell Club (3) 14 – 80 had a big win over Traralgon (5) 2 – 49. The big winners for Morwell club (3) were the rink Zac Arnold, Jesse Hebbard, Sue karleusa and skip Beryk Noblett winning 39 – 14 who won 31 – 13.

Traralgon RSL (2) 8 – 0 and Garfield (2) 8 – 0 match was declared a draw due to covid resulting in a shortage of players.

Churchill 14 – 71 defeated Neerim District (2) 2 – 68 The Neerim District (2) team of Des Pelly, Gerry Englestaad, John Rochford and skipper Mal Collins winning 35 – 14 but it wasn’t enough to give them overall victory.
