Walkers selected from a smorgasbord of walks on Saturday and Sunday and were entertained on Saturday evening by guest speaker Beau Miles and on Sunday afternoon by local singer Courtney Jane.
Licola Lions Village accommodated all attendees and provided excellent facilities in a spectacular and often unfamiliar Gippsland location.
Warragul Ranges Probus Club recently held its annual meeting.
The meeting was held at the Warragul Country Club and the Rotary president Diane Carson attended to chair the meeting.
One new member, Bev Werne, was welcomed and inducted. and Max Younger was presented with his O.B.E. (over bloody eighty) medal.
Outgoing p Chris reflected on the turbulent past two years with the lockdowns, cancelled meetings and activities, and hoped that the next 12 months would be more settled for the new committee. She also praised the club and the office bearers for their continuing enthusiasm and tenacity throughout these dark months which helped to hold the club together, with our numbers only marginally down compared to 2019/20.
The activities began earlier in the week with a bus trip for 43 jolly members to the Yarra Valley, including a visit to Rayners' Fruit Orchard with a fabulous array of fruit for members to pick, a lunch at the ‘Grand Hotel' followed by a visit to the ‘Chocolataire' factory and showroom where at a private presentation members
The April Club meeting will be held at 7.30pm on Wednesday, April 13 at the Scout Hall in Trafalgar.
Guest speaker will be John Parker speaking about “How the metre was determined”.

Coming up this month members are bussing to see The Moulin Rouge show in Melbourne, on April 14 there is an organised ‘car jaunt' (trial), a two-day trip to Sale in May, not to mention the eight regular activity groups, to which a ‘walking' and ‘movie' group have just been added.
