Round two of the lower grades in the Ellinbank District Football League saw a repeat of mostly one-sided contests that were experienced in round one.

Matches in the under 16s mostly bucked the trend however with some close contests.

Lang Lang's comfortable 25-point victory was the closest contest in the Reserves, although it could have been closer as Buln Buln missed opportunities.

The more accurate Tigers prevailed 10-8 (68) to 5-13 (43), led by four goals from Brett Kirkham.

Ellinbank comfortably accounted for Trafalgar 12-9 (81) to 7-3 (45).

The damage could have been greater if not for some inaccuracy from the Cats, who finished with 20-21 (141) to 0-1 (1).

The scoring was shared for the Cats, demonstrating strong team football. Toby Bayne and Mitchell Sayburn led the way with seven majors between them.
