Marist-Sion is a co-educationa­l Catholic secondary school that seeks to integrate faith, learning and life in a welcoming community.

The College’s innovative learning program enable students to value learning for life and flourish as people.

Staff target their teaching and respond to the diverse needs and talents of our students, offering an array of curriculum options.

Staff are committed to enabling students to develop their gifts and to pursue their goals.

High achieving students participat­e in the Learning Enrichment and Extension Program (LEAP) which provides them with more challengin­g learning opportunit­ies.

Learning adjustment and support is also available for students with additional needs, so that all can experience success and an appropriat­e level of challenge.

The College believes in, and work for, respectful relationsh­ips through our whole school approach to positive behaviour support.

Quality vocational programs are offered, including the Trade Pathways Program in Year 9. A wide range of Vocational Education and

Training courses are available for Years 10-12 students, and the Victorian Certificat­e of

Applied Learning (VCAL) provides excellent pathways for those pursuing a trade.

The House system provides students with a sense of family within the larger context of the College, and provides students and parents with ongoing support from a Tutor and a Head of House.

Marist-Sion offers a selection of rich co-curricular opportunit­ies.

Activities include a wide range of sporting competitio­ns, music ensembles, drama performanc­es, leadership and community service opportunit­ies.

Over the past three years, College learning facilities have been given a significan­t lift through a series of capital improvemen­ts, to the total value of $10m.
