I’m really disappointed that The Gazette did not print all the voting booths address on the front page so close to the election - all very well to say to your dedicated readers, look it up yourself phone the AEC --- it was your duty as the local newspaper to inform readers better. You get a brick for that.

A huge bouquet to Nick at Wolf’s Telstra store. My landline went on the blink, and last Thursday I drove from Drouin to Wolf’s and with Nick’s expertise I left with my phone working. At nearly 91 years the technology was beyond me, so sincerely, thank you Nick.

On Wednesday morning Baw Baw Council paid for Bernard Salt to talk about the future of Warragul and Drouin over breakfast at Lardner Park and there was not one single key decision maker from the shire in attendance. Disgraceful and an explanation is needed.

Thank you very much for us to give us this opportunity to thank certain people in the community. With greatest sincere thanks for the workers who so faithfully pick up our garbage each week. So we do not need to throw it around everywhere. It is not a sin to use a rubbish bin. The world was beautifully created. And he saw it was good, very good. Thank you and God bless you.

Bouquets to Drouin Gourmet Cafe for the ingenious idea of fashioning used milk carton into trays for take away coffees.

Bouquets to Drouin Secondary VCAL students for once again organising the Mother’s Day Classic fundriaser walk and run. Your enthusiam and efforts are greatly appreciated.

Congratulations to the Warragul Theatre Company on another outstanding production of Les Miserable. The orchestra was the highlight of the show, so often neglected in critical reviews of WTC performances.

Voting at Warragul Primary School on Saturday, I couldn’t help being impressed by the children’s Art on display. Congrats to the artists and inspired teacher.

Bricks to people who can’t vote with consideration at the football. A lot more cars would fit in if people considered olther vehicles and parked appropriately.
