Rolling on the floor laughing at Listies

-

Maestros of kidult comedy The Listies will provide a rambunctious hour of laughs at the West Gippsland Arts Centre these school holidays.

Made just for kids, this bonkers sketch comedy extravaganza of epic proportions will hit Warragul on Saturday, July 2 with shows at 11am and 3pm.

The Listies, containing the comedy duo Rich Higgins and Matt Kelly, will perform new show “ROFL (Rolling On the Floor Laughing)”.

It has all the most popular bits of The Listies’ sellout shows jam-packed with a new set of hilarious comedy routines to have the whole family in stitches.

Gratuitous, ridiculous, hilarious, joyous and possibly hazardous, The Listies will aim to win over the audience with their insane, interactive, illogical and irreverent escapades.

Does it have a burpershop quartet? Yes, yes it does.

Does the show feature the world’s most annoying song? Totes!

Is there a mini panto fairy tale called “Jack and the Beans-Talk” about a boy who eats magic beans and farts himself into space? Yes, what show doesn’t have that?

Since switching to full-time kids comedy in 2011, Rich and Matt have written nine award-winning shows, toured three continents, recorded three albums and published two books.

In 2019, they performed more than 120 shows to tens of thousands of people across Australia. They are the only kids act to have been nominated for the Melbourne Comedy Festival’s “best show” award.

Tickets are $27 for adults, $25 for concession, $20 for members, $15 for youth under 18 and $75 for a family of four.
