The Mid Gippsland Junior Badminton Associatio­n played round seven last week.

B grade:

This week's teams were:

Team One: Rouan White, Archer Thorne, and Jai Baker.

Team Two: Tim McDonald, Aaron Cromie, Tom Hansford, and Suley Shamsi

Team One was victorious with five games to two, and 178 aces (with one game omitted) to 187 aces.

Doubles game of the week was between Archer and Jai vs Aaron and Tom, with Archer and Jai emerging victorious with 30/28 aces.

Singles game of the week was between Jai and Suley, with Jai emerging victorious by one ace, 30/29.

For personal rankings, Rouan three games/90 aces and Jai three games/90 aces, followed by Archer 2/88, Aaron 1/82, Tom 1/58, Suley 0/56 aces (one less game scored), and Tim 0/70 aces.

C grade:

Drouin defeated Ellinbank Blue 6/216 to 0/146; Warragul defeated Ellinbank Gold 5/234 to 1/169. Labertouch­e had a bye.

D grade:

Only one match was played this week with an alternativ­e format due to Warragul Ninja's having insufficie­nt players.

Drouin defeated Warragul Warriors 3/113 to 3/108.

C/D grade game of the week:

Game of the week was in D grade between Drouin and Warragul Warriors with each team playing three doubles and three singles games. In the end Drouin defeated Warragul by a mere five aces, with three games each and 113 to 108 aces.

In one and two doubles, Warragul Warriors' Ashlyn and Lara Board defeated Darcy Burke and Ryan Rochford 21/17.

In one and three doubles, Drouin's Darcy Burke and Bailey Dawson defeated Ashlyn and Shanae Board 21/14.

In two and three doubles, Warragul Warriors' Shanae Board and Jack Ndjaka defeated Ryan Rochford and Bailey Dawson 21/14.

In the singles, Drouin's Darcy defeated Ashlyn 21/15, Warriors' Lara defeated Ryan 21/19, and Drouin's Bailey defeated Jack 21/16.

Little Smashes

Two players turned up at Ellinbank to participat­e - Angus Pollock and Joey Whitfield.

Angus earned himself 15 aces and Joey earned six aces in this game.

Next week’s Little Smashes will be held at Warragul.
