Irrigated flood country

IDEALLY situated just north of Oakey, Cashmere and Cromarty are just 25 minutes from Toowoomba and 20 minutes from the Brisbane West Wellcamp airport.

The property offers three freehold titles, totalling 196 hectares, with a total of 157ml underground allocation and 410ml overland flow.

Approximately 184ha of the property has the ability to be irrigated through flood irrigation.

The country is well balanced and ranges from red loamy soils through to heavy black alluvial, allowing for a broad range of crops to be grown from vegetables through to cereal and fibre crops.

One of the biggest advantages of Cashmere and Cromarty is that even though the property is located near Oakey, current mapping shows it is well outside the contamination area around the airbase.

Webster Cavanagh has been given the wonderful opportunity to present Cashmere and Cromarty to the market.

Offering just shy of 202ha with large water entitlements in an area that is unaffected by recent water basin issues in the area, Cashmere and Cromart are well worth a look.

The auction will be at 1pm on Friday, April 27, at Gip’s Restaurant.
