Program for busy graziers
A GRAZING Best Management Practice workshop will be held in Roma and Injune next week.
Grazing Best Management Practice is a voluntary online self-assessment tool developed with the assistance of Queensland graziers. The workshop provides you with a chance to assess your current practices and discuss opportunities with like-mined producers and experts.
This is a rare opportunity to benchmark your management practices against whole of industry. The workshop is at no cost to producers as it’s funded by the Queensland Government’s GrazingFutures Project.
During the workshop you will complete all five Grazing BMP modules in one manageable block over one and a half days. The modules include grazing land management, people and business, animal health and welfare, animal production, and soil health.
The workshop will include presentations from Rhonda Toms-Morgan (Connect Ag), Bruce Alchin (Bruce Alchin & Associates), Andrea McKenzie (DAF), Jed Taylor (DAF), and Tony Koch (QRIDA).
The workshop will be held in Injune on June 19-20 and Roma on June 21-22.
