Easy cheesy or white sauce
TO MAKE a quick and easy white or cheese sauce, melt one tablespoon of butter or margarine in a microwave-safe dish, in the microwave for about 35 seconds, then add about a tablespoon of cornflour (or plain flour) and mix into a paste using a whisk. Add the milk (one-anda-half cups) a little at a time until all mixed. Then put in the microwave on full power for a minute, take out and stir, and put back in for another minute. Do this twice more so it is in for three minutes altogether. Add in some grated cheese for the cheesy part and voila!
