FOOD Lead­ers Aus­tralia hosted 150 peo­ple in Toowoomba last week for the an­nual 400M Ag and Food In­no­va­tion Fo­rum.

The fo­rum brought to­gether bright in­no­va­tors to con­nect with in­dus­try, the re­gion’s most in­flu­en­tial in­vestors and the broader food and ag sec­tors look­ing to new and rel­e­vant de­vel­op­ments.

The fo­rum fea­tured a num­ber of speak­ers in­clud­ing key­note speaker, Ian Ma­son, co-founder of Vir­gin Start Up.

The event pro­vided an op­por­tu­nity for in­no­va­tors within the food and agri­cul­ture in­dus­tries to pitch their busi­nesses.

There were 10 pitches from a va­ri­ety of in­dus­tries in­clud­ing an­i­mal pro­duc­tion, food waste, tech­nol­ogy, and ed­u­ca­tion.
