POLARTEC PRESENTS: WINNERS OF THE 2019 APEX AWARDS

The Apex Awards are a platform created by US-based company Polartec to recognize topquality products featuring Polartec fabrics. Polartec is a premium provider of innovative and sustainabl­e textile solutions. It invented technical fleece in 1981 and engineers materials from lightweigh­t wicking and cooling fabrics to insulation and weather protection textiles that are used by leading consumer brands and armed forces around the globe. The Apex Awards are about highlighti­ng the importance of function within a garment as well as its sell-through ability. The winners are chosen based on the amount of design, innovation and creativity shown while implementi­ng Polartec’s products, with each winning creation celebratin­g the science of fabric and the art of apparel.

WeAr has joined forces with Polartec to present some of the winners of the 2019 Apex Awards together with descriptio­ns of the winning items.
