ANNE ISABELLA

French-Danish designer Anne Isabella Rasmussen graduated with a MA in Womenswear following a BA in Fashion Print at Central Saint Martins, London. After her studies, the designer interned at Kenzo and Jil Sander before working with the French house, Courrèges. Launching her eponymous label in 2020, the designer draws on vintage references, conveying a sense of nostalgia and luxury via playful prints and contemporary tailoring. Her designs have a modern-retro appeal, focusing on archetypal silhouettes like the miniskirt, flared trousers and tailored coats, updated with quirky, unexpected details and retro-patterns. Like many young designers, Anne strives to focus on conscious production, with her collections made in the most environmentally and socially responsible manner possible, focusing on high-quality, sustainable materials and trims. Anne Isabella is stocked at La Boutik in Soho, London, and online platform Yugen. 2021 sees the launch of Anne’s new web shop.
