BAL­DIVIS singer Jas­mine Atkins is mak­ing a mark for her­self on the coun­try mu­sic land­scape.

She en­joyed a stel­lar year last year, mak­ing the fi­nals in the Song­writer of the Year, Fe­male Artist of the Year and Best Emerg­ing Tal­ent cat­e­gories at the WA Coun­try Mu­sic Awards.

Jas­mine’s star looks set to shine even brighter this year as she gears up to per­form at the Boyup Brook Coun­try Mu­sic Fes­ti­val next month.

Jas­mine has been win­ning au­di­ences over with her raw and per­sonal song writ­ing abil­ity and dis­tinc­tive vo­cal de­liv­ery.

She started per­form­ing at a young age, learn­ing pi­ano from the age of three.

She taught her­self to read mu­sic and was writ­ing songs by her 10th birth­day. In 2015, she grad­u­ated from the CMAA Academy of Coun­try Mu­sic in Tam­worth.

“I am so ex­cited to be mak­ing my full band de­but at the Boyup Brook Coun­try Mu­sic Fes­ti­val,” Jas­mine said.

“Boyup is one of my favourite times of the year and I love be­ing part of it.

“There are so many amaz­ing artists through­out the week­end, it’s go­ing to be awe­some.”
