IN BLOOM FOR BOYUP
BALDIVIS singer Jasmine Atkins is making a mark for herself on the country music landscape.
She enjoyed a stellar year last year, making the finals in the Songwriter of the Year, Female Artist of the Year and Best Emerging Talent categories at the WA Country Music Awards.
Jasmine’s star looks set to shine even brighter this year as she gears up to perform at the Boyup Brook Country Music Festival next month.
Jasmine has been winning audiences over with her raw and personal song writing ability and distinctive vocal delivery.
She started performing at a young age, learning piano from the age of three.
She taught herself to read music and was writing songs by her 10th birthday. In 2015, she graduated from the CMAA Academy of Country Music in Tamworth.
“I am so excited to be making my full band debut at the Boyup Brook Country Music Festival,” Jasmine said.
“Boyup is one of my favourite times of the year and I love being part of it.
“There are so many amazing artists throughout the weekend, it’s going to be awesome.”
