Art of making a living
TASH MacFairlane (23) is well on her way to achieving her goal of drawing for a living.
The Baldivis artist was excited and nervous when asked to illustrate a novel.
It took her more than a month to illustrate middlegrade novel Maximus, which will be released by Rockingham-based publishers Serenity Press.
Maximus is written by Steve Heron OAM, the founder of Nature Works Foundation, who developed BUZ (Build Up Zone) programs used in schools in WA.
Miss MacFairlane studied graphic design at Tafe.
