Brave Alex makes a big cut for charity
ALEX Dickson is only five and has a huge heart.
The brave boy raised $1091 for the Leukaemia Foundation in the World’s Greatest Shave.
His mother Leah said it was such a big gesture for a small boy.
“I am beaming with pride,” she said.
Mrs Dickson said if Alex, a Year 1 student at Safety Bay Primary School, could raise awareness for the cause, others could too.
“We had a party for him at home on Friday night where we shaved not just Alex’s hair but his uncles, cousin and dad joined in too to support him,” she said.
“It was a great night.”
