PREMIER Mark McGowan and Brand MHR Madeleine King helped launch the Rockingham Flames season on the weekend.
On Friday night the Rockingham Flames Women started their season with a win over the Stirling Senators 80-73.
The Rockingham Flames Men started their season with a close game against the Stirling Senators, falling short in the last minute, losing 85-87.
Mr McGowan threw the ball up to start the women’s game and Ms King threw the ball up to start the men’s game.
Perth Wildcats Jean-Pierre Tokoto and Rhys Vague also came to watch the game on Friday night at the Mike Barnett Stadium.
The Flames’ next home game is on April 20 against the East Perth Eagles.
