Weekend Courier - - Opinion -

I RECENTLY received a renewal for my health insurance. This has increased $70 a year.

My home insurance went up $100 a year. My car registration went up over $85 a year.

My driver's licence renewal went up, my power bill and my water bill have gone up dramatically.

I went to fuel my car up and it was $1.40 a litre.

Yes, my rates go up every year. My wages, however, have not increased at all and I can't imagine anyone else's wages rising enough to cover these increases.

So I ask when will it all come to a grinding halt? This is a ticking time bomb for our economic stability.

These increases must stop.
