A ROCKINGHAM man (78) died after a vessel capsized near Leeman on Saturday.
Another Rockingham man (63) and a man from Kingsley (68) were treated in hospital for hypothermia.
Leeman Sea Search and Rescue Group volunteers alerted police about an emergency distress call about a capsized vessel at 1pm.
The emergency call was made by a vessel that had had come across the capsized vessel.
Two people were rescued from the capsized vessel, but a third member was missing.
The two men who were rescued first were taken to shore by the vessel that located them, where they were met by Leeman Police and St John Ambulance.
The third man was found by Leeman Sea Search and Rescue Group and was taken to shore.
He was in a critical condition and died later.
