Lifting his game to raise funds
SECRET Harbour resident Adam Woods loves family, footy and the gym.
He has combined all of his passions into a fundraiser to raise money for motor neurone disease (MND).
A family member, Vicki Sheridan, died last year after a brave fight with MND.
On June 11, Mr Woods will be holding a Deadlifts for Dollars event at Anytime Fitness in Secret Harbour.
“This involves me deadlifting 80kg through the entire game of the Queen’s Birthday clash between Melbourne and Collingwood at the MCG,” he said.
“From siren to siren, as much as humanly possible, using the game breaks as rest periods.”
All money raised will be donated to fight MND.
Mr Woods has raised $5000 for the event.

Worth the weight... Adam Woods will lift to raise funds for charity.
