MARTIN Fiebig builds luxury houses for a living, so it’s no surprise he has given his own house a taste of luxury too.

The builder’s house at Sanctuary Cove took nine months to construct.

Mr Fiebig and his wife moved into the house in 2009 and said they were inspired by luxury Gold Coast properties.

Mr Fiebig said his home is also his office and that it also works as a showroom.

Mr Fiebig said he wanted to build a solid, concrete house that would stand the test of time. While the builder said his favourite part was watching the boats sail by on the main river, the concrete design always had his guests talking.

“Most people are amazed by how big it is and how easy it is to turn around, there is no need for a turntable if you’ve got the design spot on. A lot of attention to detail went in to pull it off.”

Mr Fiebig, who has constructed many of the houses on the Sovereign Islands, said his house consisted of solid concrete, porcelain
