Opus is an easy choice

The modern apartments on offer in this prime Broadbeach location are selling themselves

- WORDS ALEISHA DAWSON

TWENTY-THREE apartments totalling $20 million have sold at Broadbeach apartment tower Opus since its release to the market three months ago.

Morris Property Group is behind the $115 million luxury development, to be built at 16-18 Chelsea Ave.

Knight Frank director, head of project marketing, residential Queensland Chris Litfin said Opus was attracting a mix of local and interstate buyers.

“Seventy per cent of the buyers are either downsizers or upgraders — both local and interstate relocating from houses to a low maintenance lifestyle or those in older apartments looking to upgrade to brand new,” he said.

“(The) interstate downsizers are from Sydney. Buyers are attracted by the position, being a short walk to the Broadbeach buzz yet in a tranquil location with the benefit of open space provided by adjoining parkland and the ocean, which is only metres away.”

Two bedroom apartments start at $569,900 and range in size from 96 sqm to 132 sqm.

Three-bedroom apartments are priced between $1.3999 million to $1.8999 million and range in size from 132 sqm to 178 sqm.

Three bedroom apartments come with two car spaces side-by-side.

Facilities include an entrance lobby, gym, pool, undercover entertaining area and barbecue facilities.

Apartment finishes include ducted air conditioning, stone benchtops, Smeg appliances, and Franke sink and tapware.
