Serenity Cove full steam ahead at Hope Island
Serenity Cove, a $650 million masterplanned community in the Gold Coast’s north, is stepping up construction of new stages following a sellout of the latest land releases.
TENDERS have been called for construction of a further 95 lots at Serenity Cove to meet the dwindling supply of waterfront land in the Gold Coast’s popular Hope Island precinct.
Demand has been driven largely by a wave of local buyers eager to snare waterfront lots in one of the Coast’s few developments offering the security of a navigation lock.
The $5 million lock linking Lake Serenity with major Gold Coast waterways provides a haven for boaties with full marine amenities including plans for a central marine village.
“Serenity Cove has experienced an incredible level of interest in recent months,” said marketing agent Christopher Jones, principal of Savills.
“Local buyers have been very prominent in the mix, largely because there are now very few opportunities to buy in masterplanned communities at Hope Island. We’re pleased to report that work is currently under way on the next release.”
The new lots, priced from $495,000, will be released in coming months, ahead of first-stage buyers moving into their homes in 2019.
