Luxe oasis on one of Coast’s best streets

IT epitomises a luxury resort with contemporary interiors and tropical gardens surrounding a pool.

Located on arguably one of the Gold Coast’s most prestige streets, this doublestorey home is the perfect retreat.

Owners Sharon and Greg Mitchell have loved every minute of the past three years they have lived in the five-bedroom home.

It was only because their children moved out that they decided to sell their now much too large property.

“We’re downsizing as all the kids have left home,” Mrs Mitchell said.

She said they bought the home because of its location. “Monaco St is synonymous with class on the Gold Coast,” she said.

They have since tidied it up, including repainting the outside, salvaging the garden and recarpeting inside. Mrs Mitchell said the seamless flow of the home’s floorplan was a big selling point.

“I love the layout of the house, it’s very private,” she said. “None of the bedrooms back onto each other. It is a very well thought out and planned house.”

She said the outdoor entertainment area was a standout feature, with a barbecue area and pool surrounded by tropical gardens.

“The outdoor area is like a little oasis.”
