Slice of tranquillity in the heart of city

It’s in the heart of the hustle and bustle of the city but this Isle of Capri townhouse also offers a peaceful sanctuary at the end of a busy day

LOOKS can be deceiving when it comes to this luxury villa.

It may appear small tucked away among a block of townhouses but it feels as big as a house once stepping through the front door.

Owner Belinda Bellingham said the size was one of the reasons she bought the property in 2016, particularly that of the master bedroom’s walk-in wardrobe.

“It’s got the biggest walk-in wardrobe that you’ve ever seen,” she said.

“It’s as big as the ensuite and the ensuite you could have a party in too.”

The two-level residence has four bedrooms, one of which on the ground floor could double as an office, and three bathrooms.

An open-plan kitchen, living and dining room that flows through to an outdoor entertainment area is at the heart of the townhouse while a second living area is on the top floor.

Italian marble, timber and stone are featured heavily throughout the residence, giving it a sense of opulence.

Above all, Mrs Bellingham said one of the best parts about the property is its proximity to popular cafes, restaurants and shops yet it was a quiet place to live.

“You don’t hear any noise,” she said.
