Bellevue proving popular

Baby Boomers flocking to Robina’s Bellevue at The Glades seeking low-maintenance living

- WORDS ALEISHA DAWSON

BABY Boomers are flocking to Robina project Bellevue at The Glades, with more than 80 per cent of enquiry.

Marketing Projects SEQ Director Kyia Anderson said the demand from downsizing owner-occupiers has already begun to soar and Rawcorp is capitalising on this trend by meeting the needs and aspirations of this market.

“We have an unprecedented number of Baby Boomers on the Gold Coast now ready to downsize to an apartment, but they do not want to compromise on space, privacy or lifestyle,” she said.

“The resounding feedback we get from buyers is that there is undersupply of large, homely apartments at a reasonable price point.”

Currently under construction, Bellevue features 58 apartments across two buildings. Apartments range from 92sqm to 168sqm internally, with 23 to 105m2sqm balconies overlooking the Greg Norman championship golf course.

“The apartments at Bellevue are up to 20 per cent larger than many other new apartments across the city,” she said.

“The apartments are also some of the most affordable new apartments on a square metre rate on the Gold Coast, now selling from $449,000.

“Coupled with low body corporate of $62 to $71 per week, Bellevue represents exceptional value for money.”

Ms Anderson said the penthouses were the largest apartments in Robina ranging between 189sqm and 273sqm, with ceilings up to 3.8m.

“Traditionally penthouse apartments sell closer to or at completion, however there is a great opportunity for buyers to get the design and finishes they want, with Rawcorp inviting penthouse buyers to assist in designing their apartment,” she said.

Designed by AG Architects, and developed and built by Rawcorp, Bellevue features two to five apartments per floor.

AG Architects Director Adam Garton said Bellevue offered residents comfort, privacy and security with state of the art building security access to each level.

“The two seven-level buildings will be connected at the podium level, which is elevated approximately 6m above ground showcasing the views, while adding an extra level of security,” he said.

“Typically developments of this size would have 10 to 12 apartments per floor in one building.

“At Bellevue, most apartments are northeast facing corner units, benefiting from lots of natural light and cross-flow ventilation.

Resident facilities include a pool, gym, sauna and barbecue area.

More than 60 per cent of the apartments have already sold at Bellevue.
