Luxurious but laid-back living

A surfer’s and beachgoer’s dream is about to become a reality for a small but exclusive group of buyers

THE $74 million Flow Residences in Rainbow Bay has tapped a chord with buyers looking for a laid-back luxury lifestyle.

The project offers a range of surf-inspired amenities including surfboard storage rooms, a surf craft preparation room, foot washes at every entry and outdoor hot water showers.

Flow Residences overlooks one of the world’s most famed surfing breaks, Snapper Rocks, and offers views over the entire Gold Coast.

Going with the flow has taken on a whole new definition as Brisbane surfer Paul Gedoun looks to share his dream of living in a luxury home on the beach with like-minded people.

“The vision for Flow from the outset was always about creating unpretentious luxury with a laid-back lifestyle,” said Mr Gedoun, whose S & S Projects is behind the development

“We’ve gone out of our way to create the ultimate luxurious beach pad without sacrificing the culture that makes Snapper Rocks what it is.”

Flow Residences, to be built at 1 Petrie St, Coolangatta, will cater to a local market of buyers seeking a beachfront lifestyle.

The project has already recorded $70 million in sales, with just one half-floor Oceanic Residence remaining, priced at $3.2 million.

The remaining apartment spans 241 sqm and includes a 56 sqm outdoor terrace area offering expansive ocean views.

The project will rise 13 levels and offer 22 two, three and four-bedroom apartments, including a two-level penthouse which the developer has retained to become his family’s residence.

All apartments offer high ceilings, full-height windows and spacious living areas which connect to expansive alfresco balconies.

Resident amenities include a full-level beach club on the ground floor featuring a recreation deck, private dining and function spaces, a gym and an outdoor heated pool. Residents will also have access to building owned E-Bikes, bike storage facilities and exclusive use wine cellars.
