Keylin sells out on Hope Island

Time has run out for buyers to claim a place in one of the developer’s two projects in the area as last remaining villas are snapped up

DEVELOPER Keylin is experiencing great success with its Hope Island projects, with its boutique Palladium and larger Park Cove developments sold out.

Eager buyers snapped up the final of 39 luxury villas in Palladium just as construction on the first stage of the $30 million project was recently completed.

Set on the waterfront, the project had a surge in demand from downsizers and those seeking a low maintenance, waterfront lifestyle. Architect designed, the villas have three or four bedrooms, and stacking doors to take advantage of the waterfront and golf course views.

For buyer Iain Martin-Blakey it was the development’s waterfront position and exclusivity that sealed the deal.

“We had been looking around at a few properties in the area, but we immediately loved the style, feel and look of the Palladium townhouses,” Mr Martin-Blakey said.

“The pool area was a huge draw for us as we loved the cabana feel, as well as the surrounding racecourse-style gardens. The way the whole estate is set up is just incredible. I can step out my front door and walk to the Hope Island Shopping Centre.”

First stage buyers have already started moving in.

“I know its going to be a wonderful home and an extremely valuable asset to be located on the canals in the coming years as those properties become increasingly rare,” Mr Martin-Blakey said.

Meanwhile, all five stages in Keylin’s Park Cove development have sold out following the recent release of its final stage.

Launched in 2016, the masterplanned community is a collection of 80 villas, 31 parkside terraces and 16 waterfront homes, with buyers having opportunity to purchase land and select a builder of their choice or purchase a house and land package using the Gold Coast’s leading Brookhaven Homes.

Buyers Mark and Chikiko Ede bought a plot in Park Cove and are making plans to take full advantage of the low-maintenance lifestyle, ocean access and marina berths.

“Being in close proximity to cafes, restaurants and the waterside lifestyle that Hope Island is known for is something that we found attractive while looking for land up and down the Gold Coast.

“The parks and amenities that Park Cove provides, as well as the neighbouring Sickle Park and it’s revitalisation was a major draw card for us, especially with a growing family,” Mr Ede said.

Louis Cheung, director of Keylin, said that opportunities to purchase undeveloped land on Hope Island had led to the development’s sellout.

Tony Ashwin, director of Ashwin Property, who is marketing the project, said Park Cove represented exceptional value for money due to its positioning and the high demand for residency in the area.
