Locals fall in love with Yves

-

GOLD Coast buyers are not missing the opportunity to gain a salubrious Mermaid Beach residential address, snapping up apartments in the suburb’s latest luxury boutique development – Yves. More than 50 per cent of the 145 luxury apartments have sold within a couple of months of being released to market, with developer Hirsch & Faigen on track to start construction in May.

According to Hirsch &Faigen Queensland sales manager Alex Jokovich, the sales are being driven by buyers from within a 50km radius of the Central Coast suburb.

“Many of the buyers are local downsizers, and even some local first-home buyers, but all of them have been enticed by Yves’s proximity to key amenities, which include the beachfront, Pacific Fair, the Gold Coast Highway and Broadbeach, while remaining secluded in its own private pocket,” Mr Jokovich said.

He said the fact that so many buyers originated from within the local area, was a testament to Yves’s understanding of what the local community requires and wants.

“It is a huge testament to Yves’s appeal in one of the coast’s most coveted residential addresses,” he said.

Designed by Rothelowman, the building will rise to 26 storeys at 7-9 Mermaid Avenue, joining a cluster of towers recently built or under construction in the area bordering Broadbeach at the start of the Mermaid Beach Esplanade.

“As with each of our Gold Coast projects, we wanted to create something that differentiated itself from the market,” said Hirsch & Faigen director Daniel Faigen.

“I think the sales we’ve achieved to date are a strong indication that our aptitude for quality design and remarkable architecture are resonating with buyers,” he said.

Prices for the remaining apartments, which range from one-bedroom to threebedroom configurations, start at $875,000, rising to $2.495m.

Yves’s exclusive penthouse collection also remains up for grabs, and offer buyers an expansive 335sq m of sky-high opulence.

Prices for the penthouse collection range from $4.25m to $5.5m.

The brief shelf life of Hirsch & Faigen’s development has been proven along the Coast, with the developer’s first forays into the area, the Hemingway tower in Palm Beach and Emerson building in Kirra, both promptly selling out.

Yves’s lavish residential collection is enhanced by suite of residents’ only amenities including a 20m lap pool, children’s garden, fully equipped gym and yoga studio, wellness spa and sauna as well as a private rooftop sky lounge and wine bar.
