Lots of character and soul

-

Behind the lush green exterior of this Robina property lies a striking architecturally designed modern home. Built with a fusion of natural materials including Brazilian Teak timber, polished concrete and Hebel flooring the home has high 6.1m ceilings and walls of glass windows and doors which allow natural light to flood into the living spaces. Entry to the home is through a large pivot door which opens to reveal a rustic rock wall, while greenery lines the entranceway.

Marketing agent Brad Coyne of Kollosche Broadbeach said interest had been strong in the property as soon as it was listed with 14 groups turning up for the first open inspection despite teeming rain.

He said while a large home, it still had a warmth to it which made it easy for families to picture themselves living there.

Mr Coyne attributes the warm atmosphere to the natural materials used extensively in the construction of the home.

“I think the difference when compared with other homes is the natural elements with the use of timber, polished concrete and stone on walls and the greenery, it gives it a sense of character and soul,” he said.

Mr Coyne said the home was in exceptional condition and as it was only four years’ old it still had another three years to run under the builder’s warranty.

“It’s a different calibre to most of the other homes in and around that area,” he said.

“It is a very unique home, it was designed by architects from Sydney and you tell they put their heart and soul into it.”

Mr Coyne said the home was really different to most of what was on offer in the Robina area.

“It’s a good value proposition. If it was at Broadbeach or elsewhere you would be paying way more for it.”

It has open plan living areas including a kitchen with a 100ml concrete island bench, Smeg oven with gas cooktop and a butler’s pantry which has dual dishwasher drawers.

Bifold doors open the lounge and dining room to an outdoor entertainment area with bar, and built- in gas barbecue.

There is a swimming pool with glass fencing and the property backs onto The Glades golf course overlooking the first fairway.
