Tech puts Paradiso Place a step ahead

- – Lisa Hughes

RESIDENTS in SPG Land’s Paradiso Place project in Surfers Paradise, will be exposed to the highest level of technology in their new homes. The international property developer seeks to revolutionise apartment living by incorporating fully-integrated, state-of-theart technology into every aspect of the build, including residents’ apartments.

It will be controlled through a customdesigned app, which residents can activate inside and away from the building.

The app will drive smart-home technology installed throughout the $800m three-tower residential development, giving residents the power to manage their home life from anywhere in the world via a simple tap on a smart device.

Developed by smart home technology provider Habitap, residents can use the Paradiso Place app to carry out tasks from simply turning on and off light switches, to booking common facilities or allowing guests remote access to their apartments.

Franklin Tang, founder of Habitap, said the technology would transform how residents connect and interact with the building in which they live.

“Self-managed and intelligent homes are the way of the future and promise greater peace of mind for resident through unprecedented remote monitoring, access and control over private and shared amenity spaces,” Mr Tang said.

“We have future-proofed smart living at Paradiso Place with the Habitap cloud platform able to evolve to keep pace with fast-moving smart technologies globally.”

Paradiso Place will be a landmark development comprising three towers set to transform an 11,483sq m site at the northern end of Surfers Paradise.

Tower 1, the first to be built, will offer 258 one, two and three-bedroom smart apartments with ocean views across 38 levels. Prices start from $591,000 for a one-bedroom unit rising to $1.596m for a three-bedroom apartment.
