“Auctioneering was the one thing missing that I could offer clients to complete the property buying process. It took me to another level, gave me confidence to build a rapport with buyers, and has honed my negotiation skills,” says Stuart.

It would be easy to underestimate Kollosche Licensed Real Estate Agent Stuart Rooke. His youthful demeanour and open enthusiasm reflect the persona of someone fresh to the property game. This could not be further from the truth.

Having cut his teeth in the competitive Melbourne property market, Stuart is a seasoned and professional real estate agent and auctioneer. He joins Kollosche with 15 years of experience.

The Perfect Match

A natural ability to connect with people and a genuine desire to help others makes Stuart a perfect fit for his chosen career.

Stuart brings to Kollosche a roll-call of high-networth interstate contacts and, by homing in on the exclusive northern Gold Coast enclaves of Sanctuary Cove, Hope Island and Sovereign

Islands, is keen to build on his interstate success. “I knew when I arrived here, I wanted to align myself with a prestige brand that I felt represented my morals and values. Kollosche was the one that stood out for me,” says Stuart. “The upper echelon market is where my experience lies and what I have been known to specialise in. I really enjoy hearing about and listening to my clients’ journeys to success, which I strive to replicate for them with the sale of their assets.”

Hammer Time

The youngest of three children, Stuart knew from a young age that he wanted to pursue a future in real estate, declining an offer to work in his family’s building business. “Watching dad’s creations from the ground up, I always found myself admiring the finished product rather than the stages it took to get there, and I wanted to create something successful for myself,” he says.

Straight out of school, Stuart worked his way up from a sales trainee and in 2012 he attained his auctioneer’s licence. Since then, he has conducted more than 500 auctions.

Marking Milestones

Headhunted by a leading luxury estate agency in Melbourne, Stuart says he was fortunate to have been mentored by some of Australia’s best agents. He went from being a sales executive, achieving his first $5,000,000-plus sale, to managing a team of agents.

While a milestone for the young agent, Stuart says his most memorable accolade was the $13,500,000 off-market sale of a property in Melbourne’s eastern suburbs, which set a suburb record. “It involved no advertising or marketing, and took a lot of strategising, with the negotiations involving multiple parties,” he says.
