Luxury for Every Lifestyle

Matching people to the lifestyle they desire has become a passion for Kollosche lead agent Ryan Ward who understands that luxury living comes in many different forms.

Offering almost two decades of real estate experience and close to a decade of expertise within the local prestige property market, Ryan Ward is a leading expert on all things luxury on the Gold Coast.

Tailored customer service and a slew of successful sales, predominantly in his focus areas of Paradise Waters, Mermaid Beach, Surfers Paradise, and along Main River, saw Ryan named among REB QLD Top 50 agents in 2021 and 2022.

Ryan and his team of prestige property specialists apply their understanding of the link between luxury homes and lifestyle to the creation of targeted marketing strategies that attract the right buyers for their clients’ luxury assets. “We aren’t just selling prestige homes, we’re selling the lifestyles those homes open up for people,” says Ryan.

A Broadbeach local of 23 years, Ryan has had a front-row seat to the Gold Coast’s transformation from a quaint beach holiday spot into the luxury lifestyle destination it is today.

While its world-class surf breaks will always remain a major draw, population growth has spurred infrastructure development that has seen the Gold Coast become a hotspot for premium dining, shopping, schooling and boating. “There was a time where people would primarily come to the Gold Coast for its beaches, but it has so much more to offer people now.”

Renowned dining options await along the coast, from the luxury waterfront dining at George’s Paragon in Sanctuary Cove to Edgewater in Surfers Paradise, Nineteen at The Star in Broadbeach, and Rick Shores in Burleigh Heads. Food and wine connoisseurs are spoilt for choice with a range of wineries in the hinterland.

While Marina Mirage has been a premier destination for boutique-style designer shopping on the northern Gold Coast since 1988, a luxury rebrand of Pacific Fair completed in 2016 now offers access to brands like Gucci, Prada, and Tiffany & Co in the heart of the Gold Coast.

An increasing number of leading private schools like The Southport School, St Hilda’s School, Somerset College and All Saints Anglican School provide the firstclass education experience that parents are looking for. “There is so much value being pumped into the local property market and economy, this is only the beginning of the Gold Coast’s growth as a luxury city,” says Ryan.

The unprecedented wave of interstate migration that occurred as a result of the pandemic further added to this value, with droves of wealthy southerners making the move north.

Though the Gold Coast has long been a popular destination for interstate buyers chasing a sea or tree change, the concept of what constitutes luxury living has shifted in recent years. Buyers are now prioritising space and water access in the Gold Coast’s prestige suburbs.

Proptrack reports that 50,000 people moved to the Sunshine State in 2021 alone, with the Gold Coast’s leading seaside, riverfront and hinterland suburbs in high demand. “My team and I are passionate and experienced in putting people in home’s that will give them access to their dream life,” says Ryan.

“I think the pandemic cemented the Gold Coast as a luxury lifestyle destination,” says Ryan. “The lifestyle we were lucky enough to maintain over that period saw a lot of people forgoing major cities and making a home here.”
