Hope Island demand continues

-

THERE appears to be no end in sight in terms of appetite for luxury waterfront apartment living in Hope Island, as Aniko Group wraps up sales on four of its projects that paved the way for the island’s luxury gentrification.

Headed by George Mastrocostas, Gold Coast based Aniko Group achieved $453m in sales across 630 properties in under three years, despite the many challenges imposed by the pandemic and interstate lockdowns.

Aniko Group delivered an abundance of stock to a severely undersupplied market, that catered to a cross selection of the community including local downsizers, first home buyers, singles, couples, families, and retirees.

“We never could have predicted that sales would reach the fever pitch they did, but we are incredibly proud to have produced some of the precinct’s most sought after projects,” said Mr Mastrocostas.

“We are thrilled with the speed and passion with which buyers approached our projects and are looking forward to continue bringing these projects to life for our new residents.”

The Athena Residences spent a short time on the market before all 185 of its apartments were snared by eager buyers, notching $130m in sales in just months.

Other than Athena Residences, Aniko Group secured back-to-back sell-outs in three separate Hope Island projects over the past three years — No 1 Grant Ave, Athena Quays, and 35 Grant Residences.

Aniko Group have now turned their attention to the southern end of the Gold Coast, recently launching sales for its $120m Orama project in Chevron Island – which has already received precommitments for almost half of the residences following overwhelming inquiries from prospective purchasers.

Orama will bring to the market 102 apartments across 21 levels offering a refined collection of large modern residences to meet demand from owneroccupiers.

The company has also laid plans for a $1.5bn landmark four-tower development on a 1.1342ha site at Mermaid Beach adjacent to Pacific Fair.
