Luxury apartments to transform waterfront

-

Aresidential apartment development is set to transform a parcel of land on the waterfront at the northern Gold Coast. Construction of the $350m masterplanned Marina Point Apartments has kicked off at 63 Viewline Terrace, Hope Island.

Developer Rick Sheida, of Sheida Group, is behind the project which is set on 2.4ha of land with 330m of water frontage.

Once complete, Marina Point Apartments will include 234 apartments across four boutique buildings as well as a range of amenities from resort-style pools and marina berths, to a health and wellness hub with a yoga room, sauna, gym and golf simulator room.

Apartments range from 153 sqm to 320 sqm with two, two-plus-study and threebedroom designs with two to three car parks per apartment. Prices start from $1.3m.

Reza Niari, Marina Point Apartments development manager, said there was no other development on the northern Gold Coast that compared.

“It’s a high-end luxury development with predominantly north-facing apartments,”

Mr Niari said. “No other development has similar water frontage to the canal and Coomera River.”

The first stage, which includes 44 apartments, is already 60 per cent sold with a mix of local and interstate buyers. Stage one is expected to be complete by the end of September, 2025.

“Most of our buyers are downsizing from large homes, but we are also getting interstate buyers who are interested in buying a north-facing apartment,” he said.

Sheida Group assembled an in-house construction team to push the project along.

“We have got better control of construction and can guarantee our start and finish,” Mr Niari said.

“At the same time we can make sure the quality remains the way we want.”

Sheida Group has a long association with Hope Island, after delivering Anchorage Apartments in 2020.
