Construction starts on ‘Nexus’ apartment building
Construction has kicked off on Sherpa Property Group’s luxury residential Palm Beach development Perspective Nexus.
Located on a 1583sq m site at 949-953 Gold Coast Highway, the nine-storey project will include a collection of 32 spacious apartments.
Of those, there will be two halffloor penthouses and three sky homes with their own private rooftops.
Builder LPS Group started construction on the project this week, hot on the heels of Sherpa edging towards a 50 per cent sellout after securing contracts totalling a massive $48m.
LPS, which is currently progressing construction of Pipis at Bilinga on the Gold Coast after completing Bide at Newstead in Brisbane’s inner north, prides itself on engaging in all aspects of a project’s life cycle.
“We’re very excited to be involved in Perspective Nexus and we’re pleased to be partnering with Sherpa which has an industry reputation for creating developments that stand the test of time,” LPS director Mark Short said.
“After working closely with Sherpa in the lead-up to our appointment as builder, we are confident that with Nexus we will be delivering an iconic residential development for the southern Gold Coast,” he said.
Perspective Nexus is the latest in a host of projects undertaken by
Sherpa Property Group on the Gold Coast since 2018 and follows the recently completed Perspective on Albatross.
Resident amenities at Perspective Nexus include a wellness space with a cold plunge pool, sauna, magnesium pool and steam room.
Sherpa Property Group founder Christie Leet said the group fasttracked construction due to a strong market response from buyers, predominantly locals, following the official launch of the project in December.
“Our mission now is to deliver this amazing new project for our buyers and have them ready to move in by the end of next year,” Mr Leet said.
Mr Leet said LPS Group was one of Queensland’s most accomplished builders and a ‘perfect partner’ to bring Perspective Nexus to fruition.
Construction is expected to be completed in the third quarter of 2025.
