Waging war via Twitter

Posts reveal snapshot of jihadist

AUSTRALIAN jihadists are throwing Twitter tantrums attacking each other on social media and posting photos showing off their AK-47s, pistols and “pet” wild cat.

A Sydney fighter – who claims he was a former Bond University student – has launched attacks against rival Australians fighting with ISIS and Kurdish forces.

Ahmed Shaheed waged a war of words yesterday with an Australian IS fighter – a friend of Sydney butcher Abdullah Elmir – describing him as being “mentally challenged”.

The Al-Qaeda-aligned fighter also suggested ISIS was engaging in “deception”.

The jihadist, who is also believed to have lived in Sydney, also took aim at those who radicalised him but failed to make the journey to Syria.

“So disappointing when d bros that got u on jihad didn’t even attempt to try make it to sham,” he said.

“Shaheed”, who has fought with Jabhat al Nusra and regularly posts pro-jihad propaganda through social media accounts, recently told followers he bought a tiger cub, which he named “Fluffy”.

His profile photo shows a man stroking what appears to be a lion cub, but the authenticity of the photo could not be verified.

Shaheed – who had online interactions with dead Sydney IS terrorist Mohamed Elomar and called him a “freak” – has posted photos of a Honda motorcycle, AK-47s and US-made ammunition.

“Only in syria can drive right up2 d front line kill some kuffs (non-believers) jump bk into your car drive to d pizza shop n net caf then drive bk t d front.”

Under a photo of Gold Coaster Reece Harding – killed fighting with the Kurds – he mocks media coverage of his death.

“Ozzy fights for YPG aka PKK designated terrorist organization, what can we expect the media to say about him?” he wrote.

“The PKK has been killing innocents for the last 30 years in turkey, n is now ethnically cleansing d areas they control.”

The jihadist mulls over which weapons to use, with which shoes, and under a photo of loaded bullets boasts that he has “switched back to standard AK so I can give the Kuffar a taste of there own medicine”.

Shaheed claims he recently spent almost $200 on diesel in a week and said the price of petrol in Syria was getting worse.

Australia’s most wanted terrorist and self-styled sheik Abu Sulayman al Muhajir is also affiliated with Al-Qaeda and Jabhat al Nusra. Sulayman – also known as Mostafa Farag – has been placed on a US military kill list.
