Support is flooding in for an under-fire Bernard Tomic after Tennis Australia’s ‘Hall of Shame’ gaffe

Dear Bernard Tomic, Honestly Bernard, it was a typo. We know that might seem like a completely unbelievable – almost ludicrous – explanation for how our reference in our recent newsletter to your Hall of Fame match ended up as the ‘Hall of Shame’ match, but that’s our excuse and we’re sticking to it. We all make mistakes – you of all people should know that. Anyway, this is just a note to say we hope in future (sometime after this weekend’s Davis Cup tie would work) we can sit down and sort the bad blood out and get you back on the road to shame and shortune. Have you ever thought about coming back to where you came from – even though that’s not technically correct to say that because you were born in Germany, your mother is Yugoslavian and you grew up in Australia? My boy! Shame what’s happening but don’t worry about those squares at Tennis Australia. We play for the people, The Fanatics and Lleyton Hewitt. I’d like to see some of those TA keyboard warriors with a racquet in their hand and trying to return serve out here on tour.
