AS beautiful as it was, the mother of Greg Dufty’s children doesn't want their final hours of “dancing, playing and being silly” to be the last reminder of his big heart.

Mr Dufty was last seen 19 days ago and is believed to have disappeared after being driven to a remote Hinterland location.

Yesterday, his mother and ex-partner, cradling her two young children, issued a desperate plea for anyone with information about the 37-year-old’s disappearance.

“We have never gone more than three days without talking, that is why I waited three days to report him missing,” Mr Dufty’s ex-partner Sharni Mill said.

“The last day we saw him he brought speakers over for the kids and we spent the day dancing, playing and being silly.”

Mr Dufty’s mother, Margaret, said her son had a big heart and was sorely missed.

“He’s my eldest son, I love him,” Mrs Duffy said, choking back tears.

“He has a beautiful heart, he loves his children, he loves Sharni, he loves his family.

“No one would want to hurt the Greg that we know,” she said.

“Someone somewhere out there must know something and that is what we want, answers.”

The pool builder has not been seen since Monday, July 6, when he spent the day with his ex-partner and daughters before visiting a friend.

That night he went to the Ashmore Steak and Seafood restaurant car park where he was picked up by an associate in a Mack truck.

He was dropped to a second waiting vehicle on Nathan Homestead Rd, Mt Nathan, about 9pm and has not been seen since.

Detective Superintendent David Hutchinson said Mr Dufty’s bank and social media accounts had not been accessed since the day he disappeared.

“There have been no signs of life since July 6 when Mr Dufty was last seen,” he said.

“We have very serious concerns for his welfare and are treating it as a homicide.

“Police are appealing for anyone who may have seen a Mack truck or any suspicious activity in the Mt Nathan or Maudsland areas about 9pm on Monday, July 6, to contact Crime Stoppers.”

Det Supt Hutchinson would not comment on the make or model of the second vehicle, saying the information was not confirmed.

Mr Dufty is described as caucasian, around 190cm tall with short brown hair and a Ned Kelly tattoo on his upper left arm.

He was last seen wearing a blue T-shirt with white writing, blue tracksuit pants, and thongs.
