New dealership open at Helensvale

-

HYUNDAI Australia has joined forces with the von Bibra Group, with the opening of a Hyundai dealership at von

Bibra’s Helensvale location with Von Bibra Group managing director Wade von Bibra ( pictured) saying the new association with Hyundai was a real coup.

“We are very excited to welcome the Hyundai brand into our dealership and it allows us to provide another new car option to car buyers on the northern end of the Gold Coast,” he said.

With its opening at von Bibra Helensvale, Hyundai joins nine other well regarded brands in the von Bibra Group’s new car stable including Nissan, Honda, Holden, Mitsubishi, Subaru, Suzuki, Peugeot, Citroen and LDV.

Founded in 1946 in Seoul, Korea, Hyundai made its Australian debut in 1986 and has been part of the Australian automotive landscape for nearly 30 years.

Mr von Bibra said Hyundai was the fastest growing automotive brand in Australia, and widely acknowledged as a global leader in design, safety and quality.

“I really admire the humble origins of Hyundai in Korea and their neverending focus on growth, quality, safety and service because the origins of the von Bibra Group were also from a humble beginning when my grandfather, MD (Dudley) von Bibra, in 1935, in the northern Tasmanian town of Ulverstone, commenced business with the £16 purchase of a petrol bowser and entered the world of cars,” he said.

“In the 80 years since then the von Bibra Group, like Hyundai, has also had a never-ending focus on growth, quality, safety and service.”

“I understand that the name ‘Hyundai’ literally means ‘modern era’ and this is the perfect synergy for the von Bibra Group as our passion for progress and innovation has driven us from day one.”

The entire Hyundai range is now available for viewing or test drives at von Bibra’s Helensvale dealership at 1 Town Centre Dr, Helensvale.
