that pops of neon but leading fashion experts say this time around it’s all about neutral undertones with minimal statement hues.

Major shopping centres are changing from cold to bold as Pacific Fair launched its Spring/Summer 2015 fashion campaign yesterday.

In-centre stylist Kirsty Ashe said neutrals were across most brands, with no rules about double denim.

“Denim is everything – there are no rules,” she said.

“Festival style is also going to be huge, like paisley maxi dresses, flared sleeves and resortwear.”

Top Australian designer Alex Perry weighed in on his perception of spring fashion, saying the Gold Coast needed to embrace cool tones with sharp bursts of bold hues.

“Designers have different takes on spring but for me it’s about black and white crisps with punches of colour,” Mr Perry said.

“Spring and summer in my eyes is about cool white and black dresses with sharp tones of pink and yellow.

“If you live on the Gold Coast that is ideal because you want to embrace the cool tones with summery hues.”
