Agent dies on holiday in US
GOLD Coast real estate agent Jacqui Grimshaw, known as Jacqui G in the property industry, has died while holidaying in the US.
The mother-of-four, who works at First National Palm Beach, recently shared photos on her Facebook page enjoying the sights of California, San Francisco and Las Vegas.
Her brother David Danes said he was informed of her death on Thursday.
The Bulletin understands the 44-year-old died of natural causes although her family are unclear as to how she died.
“We are waiting for information to come from a medical report from the USA and at this point we don’t have any more answers,” Mr Danes said.
“It’s just tragic and a big loss not only for our family but the community of Palm Beach, Currumbin and Elanora.”
Yesterday her daughter Josephine Grimshaw posted a Facebook tribute to her mother, prompting an outpouring of support.
“Her life gave us memories too beautiful to forget,” Ms Grimshaw wrote.
“We will see you again someday mum, in a heavenly place where there is no parting. A place where there are no words that mean goodbye. Rest in paradise mum.”
Her real estate colleagues were deeply upset.
“The whole office is absolutely devastated,” Neil Trewin, sales manager of First National The Pines-Elanora, said. “She was a very caring person, had a very bubbly personality and was always keen to help people.”
