MUSCLE cars worth about $11 million will roll into Pimpama tomorrow for the Gold Coast Muscle Car Club’s show.

couldn’t put a price on the vehicle which he has spent almost every weekend working on for the last nine years.
“She was a rust bucket,” Mr Stanley said. “I wanted to restore it properly and get everything right.” “It was pretty tough. “When I had the money I didn’t have the time, or I was waiting on parts from the US.”
Mr Stanley said he took his “deep phantom” coloured V8 cruising at least once a week.
“You’ve got to take them out for a spin,” he said.
Gold Coast Car Club ride organiser Ross Gardiner said some of the club’s 380 financial members owned collections of up to 40 cars.
But he said he was happy with his “cruiser”, a 1962 Chevrolet Impala and his “bruiser”, a 1966 Mustang with a seven-litre engine.
“They’re just so much nicer to look at than any new car and they’ll always go up in value,” Mr Gardiner said.
He said the club raised $3000 for Bravehearts through donations at last year’s inaugural show and this year hoped to double that.
Gainsborough Greens developer, Mirvac’s Russell Berlee, said he expected the event to be bigger this year.
“Pimpama Ride is a great opportunity to see these cars up close and to enjoy a fun and free day with the family.”
The show runs from 9am to 1pm next to Gainsborough Greens Golf Club.
