Pleasing that picky partner
GOLD Coasters want to pick their own meals, even on nights like Valentine’s Day, according to a leading Gold Coast restaurateur.
Daniel Ridgeway, who cofounded the BIN restaurant empire, said there was demand for a la carte dining over traditional set menus.
“All of our BIN restaurants will be offering a la carte dining on Valentine’s Day,” Mr Ridgeway said.
“People want to pick meals for themselves.”
Mr Ridgeway said restaurants “shouldn’t capitalise” on nights like Valentine’s Day to hike up the price of set menus.
“Especially for casual dining, a la carte options are a must,” he said.
