GOLD COAST QUADDIE

- NICOLE THOMAS

Race 5 – 3YO Maiden (1200m)

Nothing went right for Natural Force last start but he still finished the race off strongly. Don’t Stutter maps well from the good gate and may prove difficult to run down. Wicked Express was well supported last time out and has been competitive in strong city maidens. The debutante Greyt Intention’s trialled well, gets the blinkers and is from an astute stable.

Selections: 5 Natural Force, 11 Don’t Stutter, 8 Wicked Express, 1 Greyt Intentions

Race 6 – Rating 58 (1800m)

Cushty Princess fought on well last start and should be in the finish. Charles The Third was much improved last start and can go on with it. Parmelia won well at Toowoomba two starts back and her last run was solid. Fusi Fox is suited by the distance and should run well off the quick back-up.

Selections: 7 Cushty Princess, 2 Charles The Third, 6 Parmelia, 3 Fusi Fox

Race 7 – Class 5 Hcap (1200m)

Always Sacred had no luck last start when beaten as favourite and is a red-hot chance in this race off the quick back-up. Hotel Drive finished strongly last start and should improve second-up. Rhyme Nor Rhythm ran well after being caught wide last start at Toowoomba and should go well here. Mystical Renegade hit the line well last start and has won second-up.

Selections: 4 Always Sacred, 2 Hotel Drive, 1 Rhyme Nor Rhythm, 3 Mystical Renegade

Race 8 – Class 1 Hcp (1200m)

Felino Bel ran well in the city and can improve after copping a wide run last start. Armet was consistent last preparation, goes well fresh and looks right up to this. Cellyse didn’t have a great deal of luck first-up and can improve here. Collywobble won her trial coming into this and must be included in the chances first-up.

Selections: 11 Felino Bel, 1 Armet 8 Cellyse, 3 Collywobble
