Glammed-up Corby lifts her profile

-

SCHAPELLE Corby’s image makeover from drug smuggler to social media celebrity almost certainly now includes facial fillers and Botox, according to an expert.

A flurry of festive season pictures posted by the former Kerobokan Prison inmate, who returned to the Gold Coast in May after serving almost a decade for importing marijuana, has led to many comments on the 40-yearold’s new youthful appearance and sexy eyes.

Photos of her in reindeer antlers and with family for Christmas showed Corby flaunting a flawless complexion, plump cheeks and full lips indicating she’s had some facial fillers and Botox according to cosmetic surgeon and medical director of Academy Face and Body Dr Jayson Oates.

“Certainly her face is looking very full, more than I prefer, but popular,” he said.

“So I suspect she has had fillers.

“She’s got very little wrinkling for a 40-year-old woman, let alone what she has experienced, so she’s probably had some Botox too,” he said.

Dr Oates, a former president of The Australasian Academy of Facial Plastic Surgery, said Corby’s rejuvenated eyes were probably more likely due to just good make up to achieve the fashionable almond shape.

And as for busty pictures of the former Gold Coast beauty therapy student in a bikini it’s possible she’s had some very good breast enhancement but the jury is still out.

“Whatever Schapelle is doing for herself I say go for it,” Dr Oates said.

“Cosmetic medicine and surgery is about feeling confident and comfortable with your body and I think Schapelle is looking confident.”
