Your return to playing rugby, via Surfers Paradise in the Gold Coast competition, was delayed by a quad injury. When can we expect to see you in Dolphins colours?

A

Yeah, it was unfortunate with a little tear in training but I am now fully fit.

I actually played a charity game in Hong Kong last weekend and I am feeling good to go now so I will be hoping to make my debut appearance in the next few weeks.

After five years away from playing, are you raring to get back out there?

A

Yeah, I was really just starting to get into training and the body was starting to feel good again and get back into the swing of things. I’m excited to play at the moment.

I was really pleased with the decision I made, it’s going to be fun. It’s a great club, it’s great to be back within a team environment. I’m really looking forward to it. I know that it’s at a different level but that’s not an issue; it’s more what you make of it.
