Schoolies get lewd

Sex acts, girls kissing in five-minute video

- TALISA ELEY

THE wild antics of this year’s school leavers have been laid bare as the first week of Schoolies comes to an end.

A five minute-long video, posted to the Facebook page of social media personality Jamie Zhu, features teenage girls performing sexual acts on a microphone, eyebrows being shaved and girls kissing, cheered on by crowds of rowdy schoolies.

TV’s Love Island contestant Charlie Taylor and social media star Justin Ryan also appeared in the video as they partied on the Gold Coast.

Teens brag in explicit detail about their sexual conquests during Schoolies.

“I f--ked a Red Frog, and he was so mint man,” one girl told video makers.

Red Frogs founder Andy Gourley said all staff were bound by strict policies and always worked in groups under the direction of a team leader. Mr Gourley said the behaviour in the video was out of the ordinary at Schoolies. While parents may be alarmed at the behaviour, teens have largely avoided brushes with the law in 2018.

A Queensland Police spokeswoman said officers were pleased with overall behaviour, and arrests were down on last year.

“Only a handful of schoolies came to police attention each night generally for minor drug possession and public nuisance,” she said.

“Police have had very positive interaction with the school leavers who have been coming up to officers on patrol in Surfers Paradise just to say hello and thank you.”

Nearly 21,000 Queensland school leavers attended during week one, slightly up on last year’s numbers.

Surfers Paradise has begun to return to normal today, with the beach hub pulled down minutes after the clock struck midnight.

Next week the focus will shift to the nightclub precinct as about 12,000 school leavers from NSW, Victoria and New Zealand arrive.
